This is a bosal designed for the bitless natural horsemanship style of riding.  I designed my pattern on the workplace while training horses and trying to see what works and what  doesnt work.  This is wonderful for the horse that does not care for the bit, and even for the horse that is bitted as a nice break from it once in a while.   I have found that by using this bosal my horses have become much more relaxed and also lighter in their responses.  I chose the base rope in a 3/8' slick stiffer rope because it gave me a better release when the reins were not engaged.  I did not care for the softer rope of my first design because I feel that it does not release as well for me.  I hand braid each noseband with 550 paracord.

Small pony up to 17" (shetlands, minis)
cobb or small horse up to 19" (fits most welsch, paso finos, arabs, etc)
average horse up to 23"
large up to 26"
draft up to 32"
