    Description

    For sale is a Hoover 42272172 dirty water recovery tank for a steam vac.  This item is used and the plastic piece that holds the handle on is broken and a spring is missing.  This item is for parts and is being sold as is.  With that said I have been able to use it by applying pressure to the handle to keep the lid closed during operation and carefully removing the waste water.  However, the handle and top of tank assembly are in excellent condition.  if you are handy you can probably figure out how to repair the item instead of paying over for a new tank.
